Silpa finished her Bachelors in Physiotherapy in 2003 in India and moved to Australia to upskill and focus on musculoskeletal injuries. Since then, Silpa completed her Post Graduate Masters qualification in Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapy from Curtin University (2018), Physiotherapy in Clinical Studies from University of Queensland (2005), and Graduate Certificate in Physiotherapy from University of Queensland (2004).

Since 2003, she has worked in various private clinics and hospitals in Australia and England treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal, sports and occupational health related injuries.  Silpa has a wide range of skills in different physiotherapy fields like Women`s Health, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, Fascial Manipulation, Occupational Health Physiotherapy, Vestibular rehabilitation, Sports, Pilates, Western acupuncture to name a few.Her wider experience provides a broader understanding and appreciation of the body’s systems as a whole.

Silpa specialises in the management of bladder and bowel dysfunction in women and men in the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, men pre and post-prostatectomy and antenatal/postnatal care. Her true passion is in working with patients experiencing sexual dysfunction and is comfortable in treating all genders and sexual preferences.

Her particular interest is in supporting children and adolescents in overcoming bladder bowel dysfunction, involving challenges surrounding toilet training, constipation and soiling, urgency and daytime wetting, as well as enuresis (bed wetting). Silpa is passionate about providing education and practical support for children and their caregivers and liaises closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimise each child’s care. She enjoys integrating her musculoskeletal and pelvic health knowledge in rehabilitating her clients to better health and quality of life.
